Filtura® Media meltblown nonwovens are as versatile as our customers and their requirements. Using a wide range of different polymers and additives as well as offering many grades of air permeability and filter efficiency (with ePM1 up to 80%), the right fabric can be offered for each and every filter configuration. The Filtura® portfolio also comprises single-layer meltblown fabrics as well as composite filter media for example spunbond or needle-punched nonwoven carrier material laminated to a meltblown nonwoven filtration layer.

Filtura® Media spunbond nonwovens are a preferred filter material for leading manufacturers of cabin air filters (particle filters) and air pollution control systems. They value the fabrics’ excellent stiffness as well as its dimensional stability. These features facilitate the production of air filter media with sharp and stable pleats. Our portfolio also includes spunbond microfilament fabrics which combine a dense filament structure with superior air permeability- for highly durable, effective filtration media.

Filtura® Media drylaid nonwovens ensure smooth processing due to their tensile properties. In addition they provide superior pleatability. And the nonwovens’ high air permeability guarantees low pressure drop. The range includes filter media which meet filter classes ePM2,5 to ePM1, deliver excellent dust holding capacity and are highly customizable. Filtura® Media drylaid nonwovens are available in different weights and thicknesses as well as with additional functionality such as antimicrobial properties.

Utilizing a variety of bonding processes and polymers, the fully synthetic fabrics can be tailored to provide the features required for the most diverse filtration processes. Filtura® high-quality 3D mats feature a unique monofilament structure of synthetic filaments, which form a compression resistant matrix that allows high flow rates. Used as a packing medium in bioscrubbers and biotrickling filters Filtura® Media 3D mats play a crucial role in wastewater treatment.
